JMJ 2011 DÍAS EN LAS DIÓCESIS |
La Archidiócesis de Santiago de Compostela acaba de clausurar el Año Santo 2010. Durante todo este año han sido varios millones los peregrinos que han querido acercarse hasta la catedral que guarda el cuerpo de Santiago el Mayor para ganar las gracias jubilares de este Año Santo. Entre otros peregrinos hemos contado con la presencia de S. S. Benedicto XVI el pasado mes de noviembre y hemos organizado también la Peregrinación y Encuentro de Jóvenes PEJ 2010 en el mes de agosto.
Por estos motivos no hemos podido responder a todos los correos que insistentemente nos pedían información sobre los Días en las Diócesis (DED) entre el 11 y el 15 de agosto de 2011. Ahora nos ponemos en contacto con los diferentes grupos que ya se inscribieron en la JMJ Madrid 2011 y que están solicitando información sobre esos días en nuestra Archidiócesis.
Siguiendo los criterios que nos han señalado desde la organización de la JMJ Madrid 2011 podemos concretar lo siguiente:
1º) INSCRIPCIÓN: Sólo acogeremos aquellos grupos que se hayan inscrito con anterioridad en la JMJ Madrid 2011 y que hayan solicitado por este medio venir a nuestra Archidiócesis. Es importante que todos los participantes vengan organizados y respaldados por alguna institución eclesial. Consideramos conveniente que aquellas personas individuales que se están planteando venir a los DED previos a la JMJ deben ponerse en contacto con grupos organizados de sus respectivos países y que no vengan individualmente.
2º) ALOJAMIENTO: Nuestra Archidiócesis es muy extensa y tiene más de mil parroquias. Entendemos que los grupos que van a venir desean conocer nuestra realidad. Por este motivo estamos organizando la acogida en familias que NO viven en la ciudad de Santiago. En estas poblaciones habrá acogida en familias que se comprometen a proporcionar alojamiento para dormir y desayuno por la mañana para los mayores de 18 años. Los que tengan 16 o 17 años deben alojarse en polideportivos acompañados por sus propios responsables.
En el caso de querer alojarse en la ciudad de Santiago el alojamiento para todos será en polideportivos. Durante este último Año Santo hemos tenido la experiencia de miles de peregrinos que se alojaron en instalaciones deportivas y habitualmente muchos ayuntamientos y autoridades escolares están cobrando por usar estos pabellones, los aseos y las duchas. Por esta razón aquellos grupos que tengan que dormir en este tipo de instalaciones tendrán que pagar lo que nos vayan a cobrar.
3º) ALIMENTACIÓN: Cada grupo que es acogido en familias sólo tiene que pagar sus comidas y cenas. Pueden traer su propio catering o nosotros les damos el contacto de tres o cuatro empresas de comidas de la zona para que puedan elegir. Todos los que duerman en polideportivos también tienen que pagar su propio desayuno a la empresa que contraten. En algún caso concreto quizás alguna parroquia de acogida se haga cargo de la manutención, pero en principio hay que encargar la comida y pagarla.
4º) ACTIVIDADES: Nuestra Archidiócesis NO va a organizar grandes actividades ya que consideramos que el gran encuentro y las grandes celebraciones las disfrutaremos todos en Madrid. Por este motivo cada parroquia que acoja organizará sencillas actividades culturales, recreativas o solidarias, pero dejando siempre total libertad al grupo que llega para que puedan tener su tiempo de formación y cada uno marque sus prioridades.
Cuando se confirme esta preinscripción se establecerá un contacto directo entre dicha parroquia y el grupo extranjero para que puedan concretar aquellas celebraciones conjuntas litúrgicas que se vayan a organizar. Si algún grupo tiene interés en que le organicemos alguna pequeña ruta andando o recorrido en autobús nos lo pueden comunicar, teniendo en cuenta que cada grupo tiene que afrontar sus propios gastos.
En cualquier caso recomendamos vivamente que cada grupo dedique un día entero a venir a la ciudad de Santiago. Aquí celebraremos los días 12, 13 y 14 de agosto un pequeño acto de acogida en la ciudad, acompañaremos a los grupos para que visiten lo más importante y tendremos celebraciones litúrgicas en la Catedral. Hay que tener en cuenta que la Catedral de Santiago es uno de los santuarios de peregrinación más importantes del mundo. Nosotros nos encargaremos de distribuir los días y las horas en función de las diferentes lenguas para que los respectivos obispos que acompañan a cada grupo puedan tener estas celebraciones por lenguas.
5º) DESPLAZAMIENTOS: Nuestra Archidiócesis es muy rural y por este motivo se recomienda venir en autobús o alquilar autobuses para hacer los desplazamientos. El viaje desde el aeropuerto hasta la localidad correspondiente, venir a Santiago el día señalado y el desplazamiento a Madrid corren a cargo de cada grupo.
Al llegar al aeropuerto o a la estación de ferrocarril correspondiente cada grupo tendrá que desplazarse a la localidad que le corresponda. Irán acompañados de responsables nativos que les guiarán, pero este viaje, alquilando autobuses, tiene que ser costeado por cada grupo.
Podemos facilitar el contacto de varias empresas de transportes para que cada grupo haga su reserva según sus necesidades.
6º) APORTACIÓN ECONÓMICA: Ya que la mayor parte de los servicios de alojamiento, comidas y transportes corren a cargo de los propios participantes, la cantidad que se solicita por parte de la organización es de 5 € persona / noche para aquellos que duermen en polideportivos. La cantidad total de cada grupo debe ser ingresada en la cuenta corriente domiciliada en NOVACAIXAGALICIA 2091 0379 61 3000027283 antes del 30 de junio de 2011.

WYD 2011 DAYS IN THE DIOCESES
The Archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela has just closed the Holy Year 2010. During all this year million of pilgrims have come to the cathedral that keeps the body of Saint James to gain the graces of this Holy Year. Between these pilgrims were Pope Benedict XVI, whose visit we enjoyed last November. We have also organized the Young People’s Peregrination and Meeting (PEJ 2010) in August.
Because of that we were not able to answer all the emails that asked for information about the Days in the Dioceses (DID) between 11th and 15th August. Now we want to get in touch with the different groups that have already registered in the WYD Madrid 2011 and wish more information about these days in our Archdiocese.
In accordance with the norms of the WYD organization in Madrid we can give you the following information:
1º) REGISTRATION: We will only receive those groups that have previously registered in the WYD Madrid 2010 and have requested in this way to come to our Archdiocese. It is important that all the participants come organized and supported by some ecclesiastical institution. We think it is convenient that those persons who want to come to the DID get in touch with groups in their respective countries and do not come alone.
2º) HOUSING: Our Archdiocese is very large and has more than thousand parishes. We would like to show you our reality; because of that we are organizing the welcome and recepcion of the groups in communities outside Santiago. In these towns and villages you will stay with families that are going to provide room and breakfast free of charge for those people over 18 years old. Those who are 16 or 17 years old must stay in sports centers accompanied by their group leader.
In case you want to stay in Santiago the accomodation will be mainly in sports centers. During the latter Holy Year thousand of pilgrims lodged at sports facilities and the town council and local authorities have often charged the use of these halls, the bathrooms and the showers. For this reason, if you want to sleep in this kind of facility, you must pay some amount of money for it.
3º) MEALS: The groups that stay with families must only pay his lunch and dinner. You can bring your own catering or we can give you the addresses of three or four catering companies. Those who sleep in sport centers must pay their own breakfast to the company they contract. Although in some cases the host parish can take charge of this, you have to be aware that probably you have to order the food and pay it.
4º) ACTIVITIES: Our Archdiocese is not going to organize big activities; we think the real meeting and the big celebration will be in Madrid. Because of that, each host parish will organize its own cultural, recreative and solidarity activities, leaving anyway a lot of freedom to the group, so that you can have your own time of formation. When the preinscription is confirmed a direct contact will be established between the above mentioned parish and the foreign group so that you can settle the liturgical celebrations that are going to take place. Besides of that, we can organize a walking route or bus tour if your group is interested. In this case you just have to tell it to us (be anyway aware that this will not be free).
We recommend anyway that every group spend a whole day in Santiago. Here we will celebrate the 12th, 13th and 14th August a small wellcoming act. We will visit with you the most important places in the city and you will have a liturgical celebration in the Cathedral. You have to keep in mind that the Cathedral of Santiago is one of the most important pilgrimage sanctuaries in the world. We will distribute the days and the hours of these celebrations according to the different languages, so that the respective bishops who accompany each group can celebrate them in their own language.
5º) HOW TO GO: Our Archdiocese is very rural; because of that we recommend you to come in bus or to rent a bus here. After arriving at the airport or railway station each group will go to the place where its host parish is. It will be accompanied by native people who will guide them, but this trip, with rented buses, has to be paid by each group. The trip to Santiago and to Madrid must also be paid.
We can give you the address of several companies so that you can book something according to your needs.
6º) ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION: As most of the services, housing, meals and transports must be paid by the participants, the organization requests an amount of 5€ per night for those who want to stay in sport centers. The whole amount of each group must be paid into the following bank account in NOVACAIXAGALICIA 2091 0379 61 3000027283 before June the 30th.
